TRACS Belt System

The TRACS Belt System consists of 11 levels. Each level requires the student to display certain techniques with competency. The student can apply for assessment when they feel ready. Assessments are typically done every 6 months.

Each belt has a main technique which is taught for grading. As you progress through each level, you learn how to block the previous belt's kick technique. E.g. the main technique learnt in the Yellow belt is the Front Snap Kick. Once a student passes this assessment they progress to the Green belt. During the Green belt learning process the student will not only learn the main technique (Turning Kick) but of even more value, the student will learn how to block the Front Snap Kick taught in the Yellow belt.

The table to the right displays the various belt Colours to be earned, the Grade and the Main Technique which will be taught and is required to be competently displayed during assessment.
